Materials

1lb beeswax block
10yds cotton square braid candle wick size #1/0
wood skewers or stick
quart size ball jar
gallon pot

Instructions

1. Shave/chop pieces of beeswax into ball jar

2. Heat water in gallon pot and set ball jar with wax in the middle, use as a double boiler

3. While wax is melting prep your wick. Cut a piece of wick long enough to tie onto skewer and dip far enough into jar.

4. When wax has melted dip the wick in and let sit for 10 seconds. Pull out and let cool. Then  begin to dip quickly so the previous wax does not melt. Dip until you have a desired thickness.
