We got our copy of Sweet Paul and we still can't believe how lovely the article we worked so hard on turned out! In honor of our Sweet Paul "Peach Truck" article here is our second recipe in our series using the Peach Truck's peaches. Also a few shots of the magazine, get yours now. Now for the cocktail! One of my favorite memories about my recent short stint in Spain was sitting in the the plazas starting my evenings off with an Aperol Spritz. When we got back home we were lucky enough to get a box of Peach Truck peaches and I knew those two delicious things would made a killer combination. Lucky for you they are now shipping peaches so go get yo' self some and have an early evening cocktail.
Hart & Honey's Peach Aperol Spritz
(recipe makes 1 spritz)
2T Peach puree *
1oz Seltzer Water
• Drop Peach puree into the bottom of a tall glass or wine glass
• Pour Aperol on top and stir
• Add in Prosecco and then top off with seltzer
• Garnish with a peach
* for the peach puree:
Start by peeling 1 ripe peaches, tutorial here , take the pit out slice into wedges. Puree in a blender. If your have really good peaches such as Peach Truck Georgia peaches they should be juicy and sweet enough that you shouldn't need to add anything!
